Orkney Hand Crafted Furniture by Fraser Anderson has launched a brand-new website, highlighting the story behind the business, its designs and inspirations.

Started by Fraser in 2004, Orkney Hand Crafted Furniture has been going from strength to strength in recent years and the Kirkwall workshop and showroom is a popular stop on the Orkney Craft Trail.

Fraser’s range of handmade furniture is based on traditional designs from Orkney dating back centuries, sometimes using driftwood collected from the shore around the islands. He also has a range of contemporary furniture, including his own unique takes on the Orkney chair.

Designed and built by NB Communication, the new website includes sections on the history of the Orkney chair, details of the full range on offer, items in stock, repair and commission information and the latest news from the workshop.

A special video focusing on the business has also been produced. Watch it via Fraser's YouTube page below:

Visit the official website to find out more, and you can also find Orkney Hand Crafted Furniture on Facebook.

The Digital Orkney project has been part financed by the Scottish Government and the European Community Orkney LEADER 2014-2020 Programme.
