Forty thousand copies of the 92-page brochure have been produced for OTG by Newcastle-based marketing agency, Revolution.

Covering everything from Orkney’s ancient and wartime history, to its nature, culture, food, drink and crafts, the brochure also includes a guide to the isles, along with information on outdoor activities. A special top tips section highlights must see attractions for the visitor, with essential advice on how to get here and extensive accommodation listings.

The brochure has been produced in a new A5 format ensuring it can be racked and displayed more effectively beside competitor destinations.

“We’re really delighted with how the 2018 Visitor Guide has turned out,” said OTG chairman, Gareth Crichton. “Revolution have created an attractive, concise and engaging brochure for us, one which should really stand out in what is a highly competitive marketplace.”

Copies of the brochure are available to view and order online and can be picked up from Visitor Information Centres throughout Scotland. The guide is also handed out to prospective visitors and the travel trade at events and exhibitions throughout the year.
