With 25 stops across five islands, the Creative Orkney Trail is the best way to immerse yourself in our creative community.
Featuring jewellers, potters, painters, furniture makers and more, the 2026 version of the trail offers visitors the chance to meet our makers and find out how Orkney inspires their work.
With access to galleries and studios as standard, a trip on the trail gives a glimpse behind the scenes and plenty of special shopping opportunities.
The Creative Orkney Trail was launched 30 years ago to highlight local craft producers and their beautiful pieces.
These days special signage is in place to guide you to their workshops, with booklets available to be picked up throughout Orkney and a PDF version available to download too. The brochure also suggests some fabulous food and drink stops to keep you refreshed on your way.
