Zoe’s sculptural jewellery is a true celebration of craftsmanship, inspired by Orkney’s seas, rugged coastlines, and rich history.
Renowned for her striking, one-of-a-kind pieces, her work blurs the line between jewellery and sculpture—designed not only to be worn but to be admired as standalone works of art.
Using traditional silversmithing techniques alongside more unconventional methods such as fold-forming and anti-clastic raising, each piece is carefully handcrafted in silver and gold, often set with exquisite, ethically sourced gemstones.
About Zoe Davidson Jewellery
Zoe Davidson’s jewellery is deeply inspired by Orkney’s seas, rugged coastlines, and rich history. Renowned for her sculptural, one-of-a-kind designs, she combines traditional silversmithing techniques with innovative processes such as fold-forming and anti-clastic raising, creating pieces that are as much sculptural art as they are jewellery.
A graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design in Dundee, Zoe earned her degree in Jewellery & Metal Design in 2013. She honed her craft through prestigious internships with Amsterdam-based fashion designer Iris Van Herpen and Scottish jeweller Gilly Langton, before gaining further experience with two Orkney jewellery companies.
In 2016, Zoe returned home to Stromness to establish her own business. Her work quickly gained recognition, leading to an opportunity to showcase alongside fashion expert Gok Wan. More recently, she was commissioned to design a special collection commemorating 150 years of the RNLI in Orkney, donating 10% of proceeds from her Saltaire range to the charity.
Alongside her ever-evolving collections, Zoe creates stunning one-off pieces, often incorporating ethically sourced gemstones. Her work is admired by those who appreciate craftsmanship, artistry, and jewellery that tells a story.
