Step aboard Boy Ryan for a tide‑timed excursion from St Margaret’s Hope, combining Orkney’s wildlife, rugged scenery and local history. Morning and afternoon trips run according to the tides, giving you the best chance to enjoy these waters at their finest.

Join us for a relaxed and immersive journey shaped by Orkney’s sea, tides and stories. Each trip is unhurried and personal, taking you through the landscapes, Norse history and working waters of Scapa Flow. Wildlife is a natural part of the experience — seals, seabirds, porpoises and occasionally orcas — but the heart of the trip lies in the sense of place, the history beneath the waves, and the traditions carried by these islands.
