Found in the village of Dounby only four miles from Skara Brae, West Bites is a takeaway van serving fresh local food, midweek breakfasts, and lunches, alongside our popular Friday night chippy teas.

We serve fresh, flavour-packed food with a friendly local touch. Whether you’re stopping by for a morning coffee, a quick lunch, or a Friday night fish supper, we’re proud to offer quality food and warm service for both locals and visitors alike.

Our daytime menu is served every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 10am–2pm, with everything from breakfast favourites and homemade specials to burgers, sandwiches, and great coffee. Keep an eye out for our changing weekly specials too!

On Fridays, we switch to our popular Chippy Tea Menu, open from 3:30pm–7pm. Enjoy fresh local fish and crispy chips, freshly cooked and perfect for the weekend.
