We have a restored 19 century Orkney croft house available for holiday let at very reasonable prices. This is on a working croft on the southern Orkney island of Burray.
The Slap has flagstone floors and beams open to the roof. It's built on one level so suitable for disabled.
The Slap is set in 6 acres of working croft land overlooking Scapa Flow, Churchill Barriers and the island of Copinsay.
Fancy some time away on the idyllic islands of Orkney?
Depending on what time of year you come, there will be new born lambs, ducklings and ducks, and baby chicks, and plenty of free range eggs
Burray is connected by road over the spectacular Churchill Barriers to the main island of Orkney, making this one of the most beautiful drives you will take, past the historic block ships, sunk during the two world wars.
The airport is 20 mins drive away and the Gills Bay ferry to Scotland is about 10 mins away. The ferry crossing is about an hour right through Scapa Flow past the many islands and the World War defences.
Our farm is host to a variety of animals which you can help us feed if you wish.
