The Nest is situated in the heart of the picturesque town of Stromness, just a 5-minute walk from the main ferry port on Orkney. The Nest is the perfect location for a holiday away from it all, with wonderful walks, opportunities to explore, or simply just to enjoy a quiet relaxing holiday. We also have a number of Trek mountain bikes and helmets which you can hire from us if you wish to explore. Whatever you choose to do, The Nest is the perfect retreat and home-from-home.

We want you to feel at home when you arrive and to be able to settle in quickly. We provide freshly ground Monsoon Malabar coffee which you can use in the coffee machine in The Nest, along with a selection of our favourite Wee Tea Company teas, milk and some Orkney treats for you to enjoy.

If you wish to bring bikes with you we have a secure bike storage area which you can use. Please note that bikes are not allowed in the main living areas of The Nest.

The property is a first floor flat and is equipped with a European size double bed. Access to the bed is limited to one side and may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.
