The Burn is a perfect retreat with the abundant wildlife for company. It's set in around 12 acres of grass, a small willow wood, a pond and the burn - and it attracts lots of different species of birds.

The accommodation includes an open plan sitting room and fitted kitchen with washing machine, fridge/freezer, electric cooker. The sitting room has a multi-fuel stove and the house also benefits from air source heating. There are two bedrooms comprising one double and one twin. There is a shower room with wash hand basin and toilet and a wc with wash hand basin and toilet. The exterior is open to around 12 acres of grass, a small woodland, a burn and a pond.- a great place for youngsters to explore - with adult supervision.

There is ample, free off road parking at the house. Well behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement / agreement. There are loads of interesting walks and beaches close by, and the beautiful village of St Margaret's Hope boasts a tennis court, golf course, play park, restaurants, tearooms and shops. The Burn is close to the Churchill Barriers and archaeological sites.

To the best of our abilities we are following cleaning protocols for self catering properties in the context of COVID-19. Suitable cleaning products are also provided in the house.
