Located in the heart of Kirkwall, The Brig Larder incorporates two of the county’s best known speciality businesses – Jollys of Orkney and Scott & Millers – all owned and managed by Orcadians, George and Anne Stout.

Jollys of Orkney have served premium quality fish and shellfish throughout the islands for almost 70 years. They continue to use traditional methods, smoking fish in their own kiln and filleting and preparing shellfish by hand. Specialities include hand sliced smoked salmon, hot cure smoked salmon in a variety of flavours and Jolly’s kippers.

Our unique offering is designed to meet the needs of a discerning public, who want high quality, fresh food from reliable, traceable suppliers.

Scott & Millers, meanwhile, offers an unrivalled selection of wines, beers and spirits. You’ll find the full range of drinks produced by Orkney’s brewers, distillers and our local winery, along with rare and exclusive whisky bottlings.

We offer mail-order hampers and gift vouchers too. And, if you’re spending your Orkney holiday in self-catering accommodation, we can provide welcome grocery hampers (delivered for arrival), seafood platters, picnic supplies and our own ready meals made using local produce.
