Family run café & fully licensed bar - open all year round - St Margaret's Hope. Current opening hours can be found on our Facebook page

We offer a warm Orcadian welcome, all year round - we are a combination cafe and fully licensed bar, with a traditional bar menu with meat, fish and vegetarian/vegan dishes. A 'Peedie Folks Menu' for the bairns too. Homebakes available also (all made here).

Our bar is fully stocked with local ales (draft/bottles) spirits & wines. Tennents lager on draft and various bottled and canned beers, lagers and ciders, a Wine List is available including single serve bottles. Our Cocktail and Mocktail menu (all made to order) is popular all year round and we have lots of non alcoholic beverages (hot and cold) available too.

We offer Afternoon and High Teas (these need to booked) and we are home to "Robbies Fizzy Teas" which is our twist on Afternoon/High Teas with cocktail teapots!

Music is very important to us - we have a jukebox but also have live music whenever possible - usually provided by talented locals, but we have instruments available or you can bring your own! We host many events throughout the year - these are advertised on our social media (facebook), these can range from the usual holiday celebrations to birthdays & charitiy fund raisers.

We sponsor our local football team, and host some of our local golf club events. We help and encourage the locals to celebrate as much as possible and everyone is welcome - we are a small venue but we also have a private small conservatory and outside seating available.

We are located on Church Road - there is a free car park close by and we are on the X1 bus route. We have a local tourist information pick up point, a small off sales section and we can offer takeaways & deliveries (but encourage pre booked slots). The best way to contact us to reserve or for any more information is via facebook or call us on 01856 831889.

Thank you for taking the time to read about us and we hope to see you on your visit to Orkney!
