Welcome to Peedie Sunnybank! 


Peedie Sunnybank is an open plan studio (suitable for a maximum of two people), with an enclosed bathroom. Due to the property being very compact, the only sleeping area is a sofa bed. This is a 3-seater sofa, that folds out to be a comfortable double sized bed. Mattress topper is also provided, to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep! There is a well equipped modern kitchen, that hopefully has everything you should require for a self-catering stay. 

We have kept and restored the exposed stone wall. We have installed a new multi-fuel stove, making for cosy nights around the fire. We will provide kindling, fire lighters and enough fuel to make two fires. Further fuel can be provided if requested, for an additional cost, or guests can buy this themselves locally. 

Location 
We are in an ideal location in Stromness, located within a 5 minute walk to the local Co-op, and a 10 minute walk to the cobbled streets of Stromness, including shops, pubs and cafes. Across from the property is a bus stop, with frequent buses to the town of Kirkwall, and tourist sites in the summer such as Skara Brae. We are also directly opposite Stromness Swimming Pool, which includes a gym and health suite facilities (perfect for any rainy days). 

Parking
We have plenty of private and public and private parking space at the property, for those guests bringing cars. 

Pets 
We are very happy to accept bookings with 1 dog, due to the compact size of the cottage. Please get in touch if you have any queries regarding this.

Other things to note
The word 'Peedie' means small in Orcadian dialect. Reflecting that the space is very compact.
