Community-run hostel, open all-year round.
All rooms en-suite, with use of sun lounge, dining room, kitchen and other facilities. Disabled access. Adjacent to well-stocked community shop. Easy access to wildlife, archaeology (e.g. Knap of Howar) & beaches. The hostel has six rooms, comprising double/twin and family rooms. Prices per night: £28 (single room), £44 (shared room for two), £55-£75 (family room) or £20 per person in a single-sex shared room. Long-stay and student discounts available. Campers are also welcome.
We also operate the Papay Peedie Tours on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. These tours take in the Knap of Howar, Holland Farm, Bothy Museum, St Boniface Kirk and the North Hill Nature Reserve and include lunch and afternoon tea. The tour is by minibus with opportunities to walk and discover. Cost: Adult £40, child £20, under 5s free.
