NOTE: The Orkneyinga Saga Centre is currently being refurbished and will reopen during summer 2026.

The Orkneyinga Saga Centre in Orphir tells the story of the Norse Earls of Orkney using The Orkneyinga Saga and an audio-visual display.

The Round Church and the ruins of Norse buildings, believed to be the Earls Bu, are close by.

The centre is open daily between 9am and 6pm between April and October.
