Welcome to Orkney Glass Hut!

I am an artist in glass fusing and painting. I design and create my original designs at my studio overlooking the Scapa Flow and the Third Churchill Barrier.

I'm a proud member of the Association of British Naive Artists.

Fused glass makes my heart sing! ....... The vibrant colours, light reflections, dichroic glass sparkles and endless possibilities of creating a dream!

All of my work is greatly influenced from everything I see and feel around me including the ever changing weather, the richness in Orkney's fauna and flora, idyllic beaches, turbulent seas, local people, traditions and tourists. My paintings always include people from the past and present and my pets including West Highland Terriers and my goats. (You will also see a girl in stripy leggings and a little girl!).

The Orkney Glass Hut studio overlooks the Scapa Flow where I'm surrounded by panoramic skies, never ending daylight in summer, the reds, yellows of gorgeous sunsets and of course, the Northern Lights!

All of my larger art pieces work are made to order at the moment, though please message me as I might just have what you are looking for in my kiln.
