Myres has been tastefully renovated to retain the character of a traditional Orkney stone cottage.

It is set in 12 acres of farmland in South Ronaldsay, with access across a field. It is suitable for all types of vehicle for the letting period, which is from May till the end of August.

There is a secluded beach and cliff walks at the edge of the property, and there are excellent views across the sea and surrounding countryside. The cottage offers complete tranquility, with plenty of opportunity for bird watching, walking etc. It is three miles from the village of St. Margaret’s Hope, which has shops, a post office, pubs and restaurants. Also in the village is a gym, a tennis court, a bowling green, and a 9 hole golf course. The mainland of Orkney is a 5 mile drive over the Churchill Barriers.

The accommodation is for two people and consists of a large sitting room/kitchen, together with a small double bedroom, and bathroom. Well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. Please note that because the cottage retains its traditional style, the height of the entrance door is below standard.
