We’ve been crafting our award-winning whisky at the Highland Park Distillery in Kirkwall, Orkney since 1798. Now, over 226 years later, we are one of the ten oldest working distilleries in Scotland. Age, experience and respect for tradition may define our whisky but it’s Orkney that differentiates it. Something magic happens here that can’t happen anywhere else.

From April 2024 the distillery will be closed to all guests whilst work is ongoing across the site. Our engineers are giving our 226-year-old distillery an environmental upgrade which will reduce our carbon emissions by 20%.

It’s exciting work and we can’t wait to welcome guests back to the distillery to show you. We expect to reopen towards the end of the year.

We’d still love to give you a warm Highland Park welcome to Orkney. We have plenty of stories and whisky to share and we’ve launched two new tasting experiences at our Highland Park store at 58 Albert Street, Kirkwall.
