Traditional stone-built cottage, renovated using it's original wood and stone.

Overlooking Harray Loch, the Bothy is an exceptional renovation of a traditional stone-built Orkney croft house.

Perfect for peaceful getaways, the one-bedroomed cottage is cosy and comfortable. A wood burning stove in the lounge adds to the relaxed and homely atmosphere. There is also an expansive garden space with stunning views over the loch which ensures a tranquil retreat.

Harray Loch is famous in Orkney for trout fishing; boats are available for hire at a nearby hotel for the keen angler. The Bothy is central to the west mainland so is well placed to explore our main local archaeological sights - the Ring of Brodgar, the Ness of Brodgar, the Stones of Stenness, Skara Brae  and Maeshowe, to name a few.  All are a short drive away. Harray's Little Bothy is only 10 minutes from Stromness for the ferry and 20 minutes to Kirkwall and all of it's amenities.
