Experience Scotland's Wild is an award-winning, VisitScotland 5-star tour company running small-group tours to Orkney, with no more than 16 travellers on each departure. Our guides get out with you at every stop, lead short walks and tell the stories behind Orkney's 5,000-year-old villages and stone circles, its Viking past and its wartime history.
Every Orkney tour includes the return ferry across the Pentland Firth, two nights around Kirkwall and a full day exploring the islands.
What you'll see on Orkney
- The Italian Chapel, built by Italian prisoners of war, and the sheltered waters of Scapa Flow
- St Magnus Cathedral in Kirkwall
- The Heart of Neolithic Orkney World Heritage Site: Skara Brae, the Ring of Brodgar and the Stones of Stenness
- Chambered cairns such as Maeshowe, Wideford Hill and Cuween Hill (depending on the tour and timed tickets)
