The Lodge and The Cottage are tastefully decorated and furnished traditional Orkney Cottages approximately 20 minutes drive from both Kirkwall and Stromness, with all the comforts of home.

The Lodge is a step free cottage and has 2 bedrooms, The Master bedroom has a superking bed, The second bedroom has a king sized bed, there is also a sofa bed in the living room, additional cost applies.

The Cottage has a King sized bed in the master bedroom and a single bed in the second bedroom. Both cottages have a living/dining kitchen with a multi-fuel stove and all the comforts of home.

The Lodge is the larger of the two cottages and has a walk in shower. Dogs are accepted in The Lodge but must be on leads at all times whilst in the complex.

The Cottage is slightly smaller and sleeps 2 adults, 1 child, or 3 adults, the bathroom has an over bath shower. Each cottage has its own parking space. There is a small local shop in the village with post office facilities just a short walk away.

We have a family run sourdough bakery and wood fired pizzeria on site,  thursday - saturday, booking essential to avoid dissapointment.

Eviedale is located on the east coast of the West Mainland in easy reach of Orkney's Neolithic sites of interest, Evie Village overlooks the Eynhallow sound and out over the sea to the isle of Rousay. We are less than 2 miles from the Broch of Gurness, an Iron Age Complex and a 20 minute drive from Skara Brae. Eviedale is in walking distance to the beautiful sandy beach at Evie and some really great birdwatching sites.
