East Heddle is our flagship property and has one master (shower) en suite queen size double bedroom, one additional queen size double bedroom and one twin bedroom.

The house was purchased as a somewhat unloved though still fully furnished and recently inhabited croft back in 2003. Totally gutted and rebuilt in stone, tongue and groove pine, lime plaster and 2200 sq ft of immaculate flagstone flooring the house has been brought into the 21st century as an exquisite testimony to the past with out any compromise to modern living demands and expectations.

Externally the croft has 2200 sq ft turf roof, copper gutters, handmade sash and casement Sapele hardwood windows, hand cut stone widow sills and a beautiful extensive flagged courtyard.

Internally it has an original, authentic and antique interior of extraordinary and calm beauty. Many pieces of period furniture are restored and original to the property. Modern appliances compliment these antiques.

Environmentally the Croft was rebuilt with stone from the site and the turf roof was cut from less than 100yrds distance. The heating system is controlled by a renewable energy ground source heat pump installation. Few properties anywhere could have a lower carbon footprint in construction or maintenance.

Duvets and pillows are goose down, Panasonic Freesat TV with integrated home cinema system. and wire less broadband. The house is situated in secluded 9.5 acres of beautiful private gardens and extended wildlife reserve. East Heddle is utterly unique and without any significant comparison.
