DragonLadyDesigns is a small textile art and craft business based in South Ronaldsay.

I work with mixed media, combining dyed and painted fabrics with fleece and felt, embellished by hand and machine embroidery, couching, quilting and beading. I often incorporate found objects in my pieces such as shells, driftwood and sea-glass collected on the local beaches.

I particularly like working out my own designs for pictures and wall-hangings, and the Celtic, Pictish and Viking heritage of Scotland in general and Orkney in particular regularly feature in my work.

As well as the art pieces I enjoy working with fabric and yarn using knitting, crochet, felting, small-scale weaving, sewing and embroidery, to make more practical articles. Amongst my products are:
