This two-bedroom cottage is one of two cottages set in the tranquil grounds of Kierfiold House at the heart of Orkney's Neolithic World Heritage site. The cottage is the perfect, peaceful base for couples to unwind, relax, and explore the stunning Orkney Isles.

Paddock Cottage was originally the coach house, and is now a bright and spacious cottage.

Downstairs there is a large, sunny sitting room with multi fuel stove, a very well-equipped kitchen and shower room. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and one with two, 3ft wide single beds and a bathroom.

The cottage enjoys spectacular open views across Orkney's West Mainland to Harray Loch, Skaill Loch, and the Hills of Hoy. Skaill Bay, with its world-famous Skara Brae village and long sandy beach, is a mile away (a pleasant evening walk). The cottages share a two-and-a-half acre site with Kierfiold House, a Victorian dower house. Guests are free to wander the walled garden which houses an abundant plant collection.

The cottage sleeps two people, our aim is to provide a quality experience for two people (couples or companion). The cottages and grounds are not suitable for children. Sorry no pets and strictly no smoking or vaping. Minimum stay 7 nights with Saturday to Saturday to Saturday books.

EV charging available on site by arrangement. The cottage has an EPC band E rating and it's STL Licence is OR00338F
