The Orkney car club is operated by Co Wheels and Community Energy Scotland. Two fully electric cars can be booked for as little as 30 minutes up to several days from Stromness and Kirkwall. Co Wheels members can access cars in 60+ locations across the UK, including Aberdeen.

Sign up and book online on the Co Wheels website or by the mobile app 24/7, insurance included, for £7.25 per hour or £52 per day, with an additional £0.14 per mile.

Visitors to Orkney can also use the car club by signing up with the code VISITORKNEY which provides you with a Free Standard Membership and £25 of driving credit towards your first booking. Sign up and download the Co Wheels App. Once approved, you’ll also be able to unlock vehicles using the Co Wheels app, offering added convenience for your journey.
