Co-wheels car club has been brought to Orkney by ReFLEX Orkney and the Orkney Housing Association (OHAL). Three fully electric cars can be booked for as little as 30 minutes up to several days from Stromness and Kirkwall. Co-wheels members can access cars in 60+ locations across the UK, including Aberdeen.

Sign up and book online on the Co-wheels website or by the mobile app 24/7, insurance included, for £5.95 per hour or £47.60 per day, with an additional £0.12 per mile.

Orkney residents can use the REFLEX1 code to receive 25% discount on the hourly and daily hire rates, no monthly charge and £25 of start-up credit.

Visitors to Orkney can also use the car club by signing up with the code VISITORKNEY which provides you with a free membership and no monthly minimum. You'll need to plan in advance and join Co-wheels at least two weeks before setting off for Orkney so that you receive your key card prior to travel.
