Working with paint and paper collage Claire loves creating art inspired by local scenery and wildlife.

Having grown up on Stronsay - a small island of around 350 inhabitants - surrounded by fields and sea, there was nothing she loved more than to watch the sea on a wild day and still loves doing this now with the beach being her favourite place to go to.

Claire has been supplying local shops with her artwork in many forms - handmade magnets, postcards, keyrings etc , for over 20 years, which she is immensely proud of and has only recently opened her home studio to the public, she is excited to welcome you from Tuesday to Saturday 9-5 (arrangements can be made outwith these times)
