Brimsness will bring back memories for years to come.
The breathtaking scenery is second to none. Set on the high peninsula of Brims it looks over the Pentland Firth across to the mainland of Scotland. On a summers day you can see the mountains of Scotland clearly and all the ships passing through the Pentland Firth.
The accommodation consists of three bedrooms, living room/dining room, small kitchen, sitting room and a bathroom with a bath and shower over bath. It is about two miles to the well stocked local shop. There are also two hotels within two miles. One provides excellent evening meals throughout the summer.
Hoy is the second largest of the Orkney islands. It is very rich in history with sites that date from prehistoric times to the 20th Century.
Hills and stunning sea cliffs offer excellent hill walking, bird watching and observing the beautiful unspoiled vegetation. Sea trout fishing is also very popular. If you are lucky you might see the pod of orcas which regularly patrols the coast.
