Open the door and step into the lives of the Fea family. Experience their simple, close-to-nature existence. Immerse yourself in the everyday life of an island farm between 1880 and 1950. The Historic Environment Scotland-listed farm of Boloquoy has been carefully restored and curated into a living museum for guests to come and visit or stay - step back in time and experience the life of a Victorian farming family.
The house, farm and water mill lie on Sanday's western coastline, and were continuously inhabited by the Fea family from 1762 to 2023 Guests and visitors will be transported to a bygone era, surrounded by the authentic furnishings, contents and décor meticulously recreating the original farm and homestead.
The Boloquoy Victorian Farm and Watermill experience is available for tours this summer only and will be operating as a fully immersive period self-catering experience in 2026.
