Ayre of Cara has been accredited as "Good to go" and will be open from the beginning of April until the end of October, but we'll be having a minimum stay of two nights due to the extra work now needed on changeover

We are easily found right beside the fourth Churchill Barrier with superb unbroken views over Scapa Flow towards the Hoy Hills.

Whether you are staying for a couple of nights or for an extended break, you can be sure of a very warm welcome. The ferry port is only 5 minutes down the road.

You will also have access to our expansive garden which is on the shores of Water Sound. Here you can relax and make the most of our long summer evenings and delightful sunsets.

To set you up for the day ahead, we provide a comprehensive, tasty hot and cold breakfast menu, ranging from a full Scottish breakfast to lighter fruit and cereal options.

We also offer a packed-lunch option, so you have everything you need whilst exploring the many attractions, sites and wildlife across the Islands.
