The Ayre Hotel is one of Orkney’s finest hotels and is situated in the principal town of Kirkwall. Our reception is accessed from our entrance on Ayre Road or our car park on Burnmouth Road.

The hotel has been serving customers for hundreds of years and today the family managed hotel welcomes business or pleasure customers from near and far.

From single rooms to two bedroom apartments we have a wide array of accommodation suitable for families, working professionals or groups. 

The recently refurbished reception, restaurant and lounge bar are welcoming to all guests from both the local area and visitors. Meals are served 12pm - 2pm and 5pm - 8pm (opening times may vary seasonally).
