The islands are home to two universities which between them offer a vast range of qualifications. Orkney College UHI is part of the University of the Highlands & Islands network and has campuses in Kirkwall and Stromness. It offers higher education, degree and postgraduate courses as well as further education options.
Heriot-Watt University’s Orkney campus is found in Stromness and offers postgraduate courses on a range of marine energy-related topics.
