Leask Marine currently has a number of exciting opportunities available to support our rapidly expanding business, based in Orkney:
An opportunity exists for a dynamic engineer to work within one of the UK’s leading marine renewable engineering supply chain businesses.
Experienced program knowledge of Orca flex, Rhino, AutoCad, and Moses systems is desirable.
The post holder will work and integrate within a small engineering team and take an active part in the operation of the vessel on a day to day basis.
A highly motivated person with a caring, committed and competitive attitude to fulfil the position of Project Engineer. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and checking project-specific drawings, produce operations method statements and risk assessments, provide technical advice and consultancy services, produce final design information for use in preparation layouts, part lists and the specifications for materials and other components, assess product requirements and manufacturing feasibility. You'll need to be organised, friendly and helpful, flexible and able to prioritise a changing to-do list, self-motivated, excellent communication skills, and be ready to work in a team.
