Duty Manager

An opportunity has arisen to join the management team at The Pickaquoy Centre Trust. 

We are seeking a Duty Manager with strong leadership skills and a customer-focused approach to help deliver the Centre's day-to-day operations. 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the Centre, maintaining high standards of customer service, health and safety, and operational performance across our facilities. You will lead and support operational teams, assist with staff development, and help ensure that the Centre continues to provide high-quality services for the Orkney community. 

We are looking for someone with previous operational or supervisory experience and the ability to lead by example. Strong communication, organisational and customer service skills are essential, together with the ability to motivate and support colleagues in a busy operational environment. 

This role would suit an experienced supervisor or team leader looking to take the next step in their career, or an existing manager seeking a new challenge within a well-established organisation that plays an important role in community life across Orkney.
