Café Kitchen Assistant

Join The Picky Café team and play an important role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly. As part of a busy café at the heart of the local community, you'll help maintain high standards of cleanliness, food preparation and presentation while ensuring all health and safety requirements and operational procedures are followed at all times.

We're looking for a reliable, conscientious individual who thrives in a busy environment. You'll be confident working independently as well as part of a supportive team, using your initiative to manage your workload, prioritise tasks effectively and consistently deliver high standards that contribute to the success of The Picky Café.

As part of The Pickaquoy Centre, our café serves the community year-round, offering ongoing work opportunities rather than just seasonal employment. This provides greater stability and the chance to build valuable catering and hospitality experience over the longer term.

We are looking to offer a minimum of 14 hours per week and can consider additional or reduced hours depending on individual availability and operational requirements.

Regular weekend availability is preferred.
