The buses, run by the Island of Hoy Development Trust, operate on a 'Hail and Ride' basis on weekdays between Longhope and the ferry terminal at Lyness. The timetable is designed to coincide with Orkney Ferries sailings from Lyness.

Concession cards are welcomed on the service and timetables are available to pick up from JMF Groat's shop in Longhope, at the Lyness Ferry Terminal, onboard the Hoy Head ferry, and from bus drivers.
