Join in a celebration of Orkney's harvest at the atmospheric Kirbuster Farm Museum.

As many fields across Orkney turn yellow with the farming community making the most of any September sunshine, folk are invited to take part in a special afternoon celebrating Orkney’s harvest.

“Taakin in the Hairst” will be held at the Kirbuster Farm Museum on Saturday 21 September between 2pm-4pm.

There will be straw rope making, a corn dolly demo, and storytelling from local storytellers by the peat fire to enjoy.

Entry is by donation and everyone is welcome.
