Historic Environment Scotland's ‘after hours’ tours offer a special opportunity to tour Skara Brae when the site is closed to the general public.

Avoid the crowds for an experience you will never forget.

Tours will be held Monday - Thursday between 16 June and 27 August 2026, with tour times every 30 minutes between 5.30pm and 8pm (5.30pm - 7.30pm from 24 - 27 August). Select your time slot when booking your tickets. Booking in advance is essential.
