Artist Jenny Pope will present her inspiration, research ideas and progress for her Shoogly Holm floating sculpture project in Stromness.

She will describe how visual art can become an intentional habitat for marine life and a starting point for citizen science.

She will be joined by Jenni Kakkonen from Orkney Harbours marine environmental unit to explain local marine colonization and settlement.

A chance for informal conversation and discussion with local people and visitors.
