An exhibition by Stromness-based artist Calum Morrison has opened in the windows of the town's Northlight Gallery.

Calum is best known locally for his large portrait of the late Tam MacPhail of Stromness Books and Prints, which hangs in the local library, and in 2014 he published Between Places, a book of portraits he drew while travelling on transport in London.

Recently he's been been turning his attentions to his friends and neighbours and the resulting works form the basis of this exhibition, which runs at the Northlight Gallery until the 7th October.
