The Orkney Blues Festival showcases local and national artists across various venues for a fun-filled weekend of blues music.

The UK's most northerly blues festival is now well-established and, like its folk-orientated cousin, is based in and around the town of Stromness, although concerts often spread across the islands too. It welcomes some of the best rhythm and blues artist from around the world, ably supported by an wide and eclectic mix of local bands and singers.

This year's festival will be held between the 22nd and 24th of September, featuring artists including Kyla Brox, Rob Tognoni, Andrew Taylor, and Animals and Friends. Local musicians will be at the forefront of performances across the weekend too.
