The Edinburgh String Quartet will perform works by Judith Weir, Angela Slater and Gemma McGregor that take their inspiration from Orkney and Shetland texts. These include dialect poems by Edwin Muir, Christine Da Luca, George Mackay Brown and Christian Tait. The poems will be read by Christine Da Luca and Jim Chalmers. The concert is to include a premier of Through All the Heavens of Ice by Gemma McGregor.

The concert is on Tuesday, 22nd November 2022 at 7.30pm in King Street Halls, Kirkwall.
