Crime fiction author Lin Anderson will be speaking on the subject of Dr Rhona MacLeod, forensic scientist and the Orkney Mysteries in Stromness Parish Kirk on Tuesday 14 October at 7:30pm.

Lin Anderson is a Scottish novelist and screenwriter best known for her bestselling series featuring forensic scientist Dr Rhona MacLeod.

This year Lin published no. 19 in the series, The Dead and the Dying, which is set in Orkney.

Lin is also co-founder of the international crime writing festival Bloody Scotland which takes place annually in Stirling, Scotland over mid September.

Admission is £4 for OAS members, £6 for non-members and £1 for children.
