Explore the archaeological-inspired work of local artist Jeanne Bouza Rose as digging begins at the Ness of Brodgar once again.
Jeanne was artist in residence at the Ness dig before it came to a close in 2024, capturing the excavations, the people, and the ancient landscape through her paintings and drawings.
Now, with the small Time Team exploratory dig set to get underway at the site, you can see some of Jeanne's work on display in the windows of the Northlight Gallery at Graham Place in Stromness.
'Catchin' the Action' showcases a series of limited-edition giclee prints from Jeanne's original sketchbook. They depict the archaeologists themselves as they worked at the sprawling dig in Orkney's World Heritage Site.
The prints will be on display between 3 and 14 July. They can be bought at Jeanne's shop and studio at 59 Victoria Street in Stromness.
