Hoy Sound Unscrolled – A poetry reading with Heather H. Yeung

On the 9th anniversary of the creation of her 9 metre long scroll-poem, Kennings, which is a celebration of the power of the waves and tides, Heather Yeung will launch the book-version of the poem/artefact – Hoy Sound Unscrolled (feral press, 2025). She will read from this work, and various other new and older poems.

Poet, Critic, and Artists’ Book Maker, Heather H. Yeung (楊希蒂) teaches at the University of Dundee, where she is currently a Reader in Literature, and also at the European Graduate School. The living archive of her artist books and poetry objects has been held at the Scottish Poetry Library since 2018, with collections also in the National Library of Scotland and Dundee’s ABCd (artists book collection).

Admission is £6 for non-members, £4 for OAS members and £1 for children.
