The annual Doors Open Day returns on the weekend of 17-18 September with plenty of opportunities to see behind the scenes of some of Orkney's most fascinating sites and businesses.
2022's programme will bring a mix of in-person and digital events with eight locations in total taking part. You can visit the likes of the Deerness Distillery, the Hoy Heritage Centre, the Pier Arts Centre, and BBC Radio Orkney.
Others taking part include artist Martin Laird, the Orkney Library & Archive, the Soulisquoy Printmakers, and the Orkney News.
