Take a walk around the Peedie Sea in Kirkwall to see some beautiful species of birds, right in the middle of town.

You don't need to head out into the country or to Orkney's coast to spend some time birdwatching - the Peedie Sea in Kirkwall is a great place to see a wide variety of species, all within easy reach of a warming cup of coffee!

Local RSPB staff will help you spot the likes of long-tailed ducks, goldeneye, great northern divers, swans and much more.

Meet at the Peedie Sea at 10 o'clock - admission is free and hot drinks will be available.
