Sit back and enjoy some scenes from the past at the annual Billy's Night Oot cinema celebration.

Hosted by Another Orkney Production, this year's event will feature a mix of fascinating Orkney Archive films, including:

  • The Great Pageant (1937). Celebrating the 800th anniversary of St Magnus Cathedral. (courtesy of Mr James Miller)
  • The Last Voyage of the Orcadia by Robert Foden
  • A Life At The Forge, a documentary about South Ronaldsay blacksmith Willie Mowatt created by the Orkney Movie Group.
  • Short films courtesy of Ken Amer.
  • Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Pentland Ferries.

The event will be held at the Cromarty Hall in St Margaret's Hope on Saturday 10 October, beginning at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £6 including refreshments and are available on the door.
