From filmmaker Victor Kossakovsky (Gunda, ¡Vivan las Antipodas! ) comes an epic, intimate and poetic meditation on architecture, how the design and construction of buildings from the ancient past reveal our destruction, and offer hope for survival and a way forward.

The screening will be preceded by a short talk by Professor Mark Edmonds. In keeping with the theme of the film, Cultural Geologies will explore aspects of the relationship between people and stone in Neolithic Orkney.
