Mark Beaumont is an athlete, broadcaster & ambassador who has undertaken incredible expeditions and challenges across multiple continents - and we are delighted that the ‘Around the World in 80 Days' Talk Tour is coming to Orkney!

Whilst showing films and photography, Mark will speak about his career of expeditions and World Records attempts. These events are suitable for all ages, whether you are an avid cyclist or simply enjoy tales of adventure and travel. There will also be an opportunity to ask him questions and pick up a signed book. Mark has smashed the circumnavigation cycling World Record twice in his career and now holds this 18,000 mile title in a time of 78 days and 14 hours, averaging over 240 miles a day.
