BBC award-winning songwriter Adam Holmes brings his Songs & Stories concert to Orkney for a special evening in Stromness.

For more than a decade Adam has travelled throughout the UK and Ireland building a reputation as one of Scotland's most compelling live performers. His concerts are intimate evenings built around songs, stories and the simple act of gathering people together in a room.

This concert takes place at the Stromness Town Hall, a remarkable historic building at the heart of the town. The room's character, atmosphere and natural warmth make it an ideal setting for an evening centred around listening.

Expect songs from across Adam's catalogue alongside stories gathered from years on the road. Reflections on family, belonging, loss, hope and the strange beauty of ordinary life.

The concert will take place on Saturday 26 September with doors opening at 1900 for a 1930 start. Seating is unreserved and tickets can be booked online now.
