What's Open - food, drink and crafts

Find out which food, drink and crafts producers are open in Orkney - updated 1/7/21

Orkney's food, drink and crafts producers have been keeping busy over the last year, making sure local products have been available to folk all over the world.

But now, as we welcome visitors back to the islands, attention is turning to opening their doors once again.

We've highlighted the local makers that we know are ready to welcome you into their workshops, distilleries and studios. Things won't be back to normal for all of them though, so make sure to read each listing carefully so you know when and how you can visit them, and any precautions they'll ask you to take.

It is a constantly changing situation and we’ll do our best to update this page as quickly as we can. We’d always recommend getting in touch with the attraction, shop, restaurant or service you’re keen to visit before arriving, just to make sure they’re open and welcoming visitors, as some may not be listed here.

You should also check out our shopping page to browse some of the excellent independent shops which can be found across Orkney.
